Toni is fucking singing 

The best mess from that album, and the last time she was really using her range. When she released Love, Marriage and Divorce after this and was only cooing thru, I was underwhelmed. Not sure if the lupus held her back from really using her range and not just staying in the pocket anymore, but she doesn't sing the same as she used to and what I think she's capable of doing even now.

Yeah, all along, I thought Toni was doing those BGs cause it all just sounded just like her.

I really never noticed Tamar's bg's until I became more familiar with her voice through her own music after BFV.

Then I'd be listening to Toni's music like WAI. Is that Tamar?

Yeah, all along, I thought Toni was doing those BGs cause it all just sounded just like her.

It's very subtle but noticeable differences in their voices on the bg's...I can't explain it but you just KNOW it's Tamar.

I can definitely see why Toni chose her to do so many of her bgs. Its a nice lil disguise. With He Wasnt Man Enough, I knew off the bat it wasnt her on those backgrounds, but u couldnt tell me back during the Libra era Toni wasnt doing all dem backgrounds.
