We don't know what the movie's gonna give. These reviews seem biased.

Quoteit doesn't feel like a remake so much as a photorealistic snuff film.
Exactly. Another grown ass man living in the 90's.

You can't say that if the movie is largely a shot-for-shot remake.  It lives in the 90's itself, and it's largely depending on 90's nostalgia.  You can't be lazy about making a film too similar to the original, then get mad at comparisons.

Nah they praised the people who did well

QuoteHe did, however, praise Seth Rogan's Pumbaa and Billy Eichner's Timon, as well as Scar, which seemed to be a theme throughout the critics. As Variety's Peter DeBruge similarly noted, "Rogen and Eichner's riffing sessions result in a fair amount of fresh material, and an overall even-more-likable version of these two beloved characters — although the most hilarious change to Timon's personality comes from observing how real meerkats sit, sprawling awkwardly back on their haunches. (To punch up their personalities even further, Favreau and DP Caleb Deschanel work out a GoPro-style way of "shooting" them at clownishly close range.)"

The Hollywood Reporter's Todd McCarthy also weighed in on Eijofor's representation of Scar. "As often happens, the villain here is arguably the most interesting figure," he wrote. "Some of this is attributable to the vocal work of Chiwetel Ejiofor, who mixes threat with an equal measure of what sounds like genuine world-weariness. His Scar is an outcast made to look a bit scrawny and more ragged and unkempt than his brawny brother; this is a lion who has lived in defeat and disregard for so long that he suspects he may well be done for. Still, he harbors enough malevolent resentfulness that he's able to come back to sinister life with the right opportunity.

After Aladdin and this, Disney may wanna take a break on these live action remakes a bit.

I can't recall seeing one I actually liked and wanted to see again.

Aladin is a week away from crossing a billion dollars worldwide

And the lion king will easily surpass it.

Y'all just type anything around these parts.  :uhh:

So that means it was good?

It means its making money faggot. Which means disney ain't suffering any kind of loss due to critics feeling they oversaturate the market and dim the lights on other smaller releases.

Aladin also has a HIGH audience score. So clearly ppl like it.

Stfu sometimes.

Fuck you BITCH. I never said Disney was suffering. The only point

There's no fucking point faggot.
Before you put on your rainbow cape n decided to jump on my quote button you should've fucking read the post above mine. All up in the koolaid and don't know the fucking flavor ass faggot. Idgaf about marvel or the aidsvengers. Stop being so damn thirsty.
