I know someone who turned to the army specifically because he literally had nowhere to go.
Was kicked out of his uncle's house because of a disagreement, and his sister's house.
And we ain't that cool for me to be opening my doors up. sdsddsd
Power to the people, melanin poppin and all that fun mess but I ain't running a homeless shelter unless it's my bestie or one of my sisters/other family.

He went to the Army and I honestly think it probably saved his life.
He's pretty young so I can only imagine what the alternatives would have been for him.
And there are plenty of others who share that type of story in the community.
I just can't knock and drag the military knowing stuff like that.
yawl ever get the impression that the military is seen as an opportunity or "way out" for black culture,
But for whites is more of a patriotic choice
I saw your post about the marketing, and if you look at certain areas, they do flash stipends, housing, travel
But I have had a lot of black men tell me they didn't read the fine print
Baph really kinda .... shook the table in here
