Tamar killed toward the end but its the same old story. Shaky lower register/lack of control, and then killing all the higher notes where she gets to yell a bit and hit certain notes

Nothing beats what Toni did here  although i liked Tamars overall. No contest

I think a lot of you are picking basic on success and Toni being an OG.

Personal, I prefer Tay and lemme tell you why. Toni voice is much lower and she can work the crowd for sure. Her emotions makes you feel it but her voice is so limited. She hit the same notes over and over. Tay gave me more soul, more powerhouse. I think this was her beginning mess with LandW so young should have picked a better performance but she still killed Toni vocally but she just need more control and professionalism.

Taking Tonis OG status out of it...

The biggest thing Toni has on Tamar is...................CONSISTENCY.

Toni never sounds a mess.. She knows her voice as well as Brandy knows hers.

Just yesterday I was watching Tamar sing "All the way home" on the Arsenio show.. and chile

Tamar needs to learn alternative things to do vocally because that upper register doesn't always have her back.

It doesnt matter how high you can sing if its not controlled.
