I'm not sure if it's racial but it's definitely snubbed just like I think The Haves and Have Nots are snubbed as well.  Those shows really feature some of the best acting on TV.

This is honestly my thinking as well. Power looks very basic to me but I don't watch it so I don't wanna judge too harshly

I mean it is definitely very URBAN. However, I definitely believe it's a well written show and deserves accolades. I can't stomach Empire.

Sorry but I'm just not really going.  It's other black nominees as well, outside of predominately black shows. Mahersha Ali, Sterling K Brown, Beyonce, etc. EVERYTHING can't be nominated so some shit is gonna get lost.  Content is really great nowadays so u have to be excellent.  Saying ur disappointed u weren't nominated is one thing.  Saying it's racially motivated is another.

but the Emmys do just nominate white shit all the time. This year they had fewer nominees of color than the previous years.

but not in this case though for Power. 

And The Have and the Have Nots have no great acting, mainly because Tyler Perry is fucking terrible as a writer and a director. Except Slavennah. Bitch acts.
