Jlo was from the 90's, it was alot of competition for grammys back then. Plus dont labels send in nominations? Blame her label

Thought it was the artists' camp & stuffs. I don't think labels would send in noms for the big categories for artists like Tinashe, Tyrese, Ci, Tamia, etc.

Tyrese, Tamia have recieved nods independently, so their labels def sent out those emails.

Diana has an honorary Grammy if that counts for anything

Diana Ross
Notorious B.I.G.
Tupac
Janelle Monae
Snoop Dogg
Janis Joplin
Nas

These are all shockers. Especially BIG, Tupac and Nas. Diana believe it or not, i'm not surprised. Her songs are notable but she was among a tough roster of artists back then, many of whom were putting out better music.

Diana Ross includes The Surpremes?  If so, that is about as deserving of accolades as you can get...

The Grammy's have never been very hip hop friendly.  Back in the day they might give a Grammy to Will Smith or whoever was the top crossover pop rap person, but they would rarely give it to a real hip hop artist.
