What is this thing about gay dudes going trans to get guys? I've heard another gay guy say guys only like him when he's in drag. If you have to go through all of that to get a man, I guess you should transition for good.  I think gays have it hard, but I think it is even worse for trans women because they are often fetishized and no man wants to be in a committed relationship with them. So while some people will argue they get more masculine guys, at what cost? Unless they plan on being a personal cumrag forever what is the point of transitioning just to get guys?

And? Gigi Gorgeous lied about having a vagina for years. It wasn't until recently that she revealed she never got bottom surgery and she only revealed that because she's trying to impregnate some billionaire's daughter for a bag.

I get what you saying and it does feel like that. The gay guy I mentioned did say he goes out in drag because gay men don't find him attractive and because of that he dislikes gay men. I can't say that is my experience but I have to admit that I have a privilege as someone who does fit in certain categories and at times upholds the same negative principles on a subconscious level and as someone who has more options because I am willing to date out.

I think gay men's lust is so rooted in toxic masculinity that it is all it boils down to, especially in the black community. White men subscribe to the same principle but they don't let that stop them from making a home together when it seems to be everything for gay black men.

The portrayal of gay men in the media is very one-sided so much so that you can get discouraged rather quickly. I go to places like Reddit and I'm taken aback by how large and diverse the gay/bi community is and how much attractive they are compared to the straight communities. However, a lot of those guys are discreet just the same.

I've never heard of any trans women doing that for the sole purpose of male attention. It's usually about how they feel and how they view themselves and know themselves to be

If there are people out there doing that, i imagine it's a very small amount. And drag is a totally different thing (not saying you're comparing the two).
