Jordan Pruitt is coming forward with her own #MeToo story.The former "The Voice" contestant, who became famous as a teenager for a variety of songs recorded for Disney Channel original films, took to Facebook on Monday to reveal in a lengthy post that she was sexually abused "for almost two years" at the height of her fame as a teenager. The abuse, she said, had her "contemplating suicide every day."Pruitt, now 27, reveals that at the age of 14, after being signed to Hollywood Records, she began a nearly two-year relationship with an unnamed man who began to control her career, encouraged her to get emancipated from her parents and even promised that he would leave his then-fiancée to start a life with her when she was just 15 years old."I am filming the music video for 'Outside Looking In.' This person was running around the set like he owned the place and acting as if he was directing the whole video himself," she recalled of her first time working with her abuser. "I remember him having full control over what I was wearing and even what makeup they put on me. This was where I first felt he was 'grooming' me."Pruitt then said that her label would go on to encourage her to lose weight and enlisted the man to hire a personal trainer for her, after which "he became obsessed with my appearance and even withheld certain foods and food in general from me."
