We go on and on about how in today's age nobody should be judged for their race, sexual orientation, religious beliefs or social class - But don't we (almost daily) put people at a disadvantage simply because they're ugly?

Same goes for animals. We're quick to start a fundraiser for the cute dolphin being exploited in Asia, the fascinating crocodile being taunted in Australia, or the beautiful whale being slaughtered in Denmark. At the same time we have the even more endagered groups of animals such as frogs, toads, bats and rattlesnakes. But do they receive even a fraction of the help that the above group does?
This guys, is what I call "The New Noah's Arc" - Access for beautiful and useful species only (Pleasure to look at or processable as food under fair production circumstances)!
So ultimately, after all the save-the-world-we-love-everybody-equal-rights rumpus that we today try to display as sophisticated members of society, aren't we still fucking superficial, with our sole purpose being to serve our non-satiable ego?
