Ive definitely gotten chills from her on a record.  I think her songs are so amazing and like Terrell said,  they are so well written.  Her voice literally will tell a story and im just entranced by it. With that said, her father sings better.  That nigger's velvet slick ass voice and his TONE! He is my favorite male old school singer...... and that's period

Lalah was inspired to do the live album because all of her father's EPIC ass live mess.  I believe she even recorded it in the same venue his was recorded.  Her live mess was really nice. Donny's is ICONIC

I've seen her several times live...mostly recently when she was on tour with Mary. She is truly a special gift musically. I'm a STAN for some old jazzy scatting and she didn't disappoint.
