ETA: I'm not upset. I just feel like when they label Latino/hispanic as a race they do it to exclude black people and  no one questions it and that's just ignorant. And it's like, are you even educated on race, ethnicity and nationality as a Latino?

But there are def white Latinos . My landlord is Dominican but looks nothing like the stereotypical brown skin curly/wavy hair mess that people expect here in nyc . She's white . And speaks Spanish.  Period

Of course, there are white Latinos. That's the point. Latino is NOT a race. You can be a black Latino. You can be a white Latino. You can be an asian Latino. You can be a mixed Latino, which most of them from places like PR are.  It just irks me when I meet guys and they say they're 100% PR and I'm like what does that even mean? And most of the brown ones are just mestizo, which basically means mixed of white and indigenous blood. But again, a lot of them usually have more African/black dna than indigenous but rep that and exclude the African dna.

A lot of people believe there are only 3 races—Caucasoid, Negroid, and Mongoloid (Asian)—and that the others are just a mixture of those 3.
