Half of them don't listen and the rest don't care

How do they react when you tell them their HIV results came back positive. Do they get teary eyed, do they feel shame. I could not imagine getting such a result. Like I'd jump off a bridge.

I really want to know too Amir

To be fair a lot of them are high risk patients so they expect a positive diagnoses, I've never had anyone that was truly shocked or suprised, or burst out in tears or fall to the floor in anguish, a lot of them are silent and you can see their thoughts racing through their head.
I'd rather deal with someone who's was more openly upset than silent because then at least you would know how to react, what to say and do.
It doesn't hit a lot of them until a few days later, then the reality sinks in.
There was one where I had to leave the room because after telling him the test was reactive, he said ".....they GOT me!" I went to the toilets and had to let it ALL out before coming back in
