Shaunie Pulled The Same Thing with Saniyyah That She Is with OG

Shaunie is pretending to be so scared and shaken by OG's words.  She acted so put out by Saniyyah throwing a few hands (with some light skinned chicks, if I remember correctly) that she made sure she wouldn't return to the cast.

OG pushed her and scared her so much.  But Tami shoving her on a rooftop and Evelyn throwing a wine bottle at her head didn't frighten her at all.   :omgwatshappening: :usureuok:

Evelyn is problematic and Shaunie is an enabler. This wouldn't be a problem if she didn't have the producer job. Her ego is a problem...she wants to promote herself on the show as this independent business woman, loving mother and even her ex's love interest. But she also wants to decide who is going to be on the show and is even doing PR work? (Next reunion episode, she looks like a spokesperson)

And now viewers get distracted by a discussion about casting and morals that should be behind the scenes, which is just not good for 'reality tv'. Just be a boss and brag about it on IG but don't ruin the party for everyone. Shaunie is not that interesting anyways, she is just someone who arranges meetings for people to 'squash beef and be cordial' aka drink too much and cat fight.

Btw did you guys hear Evelyn's voice when she talked about being confronted with her abuser who give her stitches. She was almost crying. Why in the world was she asking him for receipts? In the other episode she was acting like she was so cool with Chad and now she is blindsighted by OG because he played her by not sending her the real messages. Ev is kinda disgusting when you think about it. I mean there are more women who went through abuse but refuse to have any contact. It just makes me wonder...What Chad did was wrong but Ev clearly needs to work on her anger management. She is always provoking people.

I think OG went wrong when she said it was a colorism issue. I think it has more to do with the fact that she's newer..

I knew what she meant. It's not necessarily a "color issue" it's more so because she's a little rough around the edges. Kids did shit like this in elementary school and middle school

Gilgamesh.

edit.

I agree. She's so well spoken and great at expressing her feelings but the "colorism" argument made me side-eye her a bit.

pretty much.

cause honestly i don't fuckin' think there's a colorism thing.... otherwise lots of the girls wouldn't be on there

Gilgamesh.

Colorism isn't always as overt as someone saying "ew i don't like dark butts!". Most of the time it's a a passive thing, we're conditioned to think of darker skinned people as violent, ghetto, angry etc - which is the narrative they've pushed on OG.

I. Hate. Monica.

yeah these women are definitely colorist and the whole

Kristen and Jen are dark as well. I think it's the fact that OG is brand new and doesn't back down from anyone..
