The 2010 girls just came out during a time when R&B girls couldnt really get played on Pop radio stations like the girls from the other eras. The iTunes era really made it tough for R&B artists now to breakthrough. 

All in all though, I prefer 2000s era. I feel like albums were better, while in the 90s, songs were better. Lots of hit songs and sub par albums.

In a weird way i agree, they lack a few things that separated them from the 00 girls now that i think about it.  The stage presence, star presence etc...
