that's also when contemporary R&B started to die imo

they became too obssesed with appealing to mainstream and white audiences to stay relevant since the genre was nerfed in the Hot 100 formula calculations.

I tried to go back to listen to I Got A Feeling and the sound does sound the same or feel the same too me

The singles from this album were actually good. Except ,,I Gotta Feeling"... I fucking hate that song.

The Beginning was terrible though. That Dirty Dancing cover was cringeworthy. And all the following singles.

at the time i kinda enjoyed the music but looking at the videos, the production, the sound. it is just sooo bad and it was like the pinnacle of pop music at the time
