With Afro, Brandy was up against Usher and his Confession album, the biggest era of his career and a diamond certified album.

Full Moon was ahead of it's time. But in no way should she have lost against the Ashanti album for best contemporary R&B album. That was hers!

But she has been nominated 12 times since 96.
In 96 Baby went up against Toni, Mariah, Vanessa, and Anita took it. That's completion! Sitting up in my room went up again Mary, Tamia, Whitney, with Toni taking it. And then she lost against Whitney in 2000 for almost doesn't count. I wouldn't say she's been snubbed but competition has always been stiff in her categories .

Yes all those nominations and how many wins?  snubbed downe. My opinion.

I honestly don't care if she wins. What makes me think she will is all the coverage and success the song is getting.  Billboard wrote a whole article on the song and nomination. She has a good chance. Plus her winning multiple awards in the industry, outside of major award shows, inevitably gives her exposure to music critics and influencers. She's got a good shot.

This is the ONLY one I'm willing to agree on but even then Ashanti had a huge yr so MEH! Furthermore Fullmoon's reviews weren't that great and I don't even love that album, so on second that NAH!
