Bieber is platinum in just two weeks, Adele is 4x's platinum in two weeks. Name the last urban r&b/ soul act that went platinum?

:stressed:

Mel.

whatever

NNNN but it's not just the fans...

Its the label, executives, radio program directors, booking agents, fans etc....

Scott.

I agree. But hell most times, the fans don't even KNOW their fave is releasing. It's not enough outlets for Urban artists to promote now. 106 & Park was the biggest piece of promotion they could have and now that's gone.

GLOCK

LOONA.

These artists are gonna have to stop waiting on the label to do shit for them. It's time they stop complaining and start coming together and not on no corny shit. They need to create their own avenues, their own means of promotion and make due. Clearly going on TV shows and radio interviews isn't selling music any more. They need to think outside the box and engage their audience. It also wouldn't hurt if they step out of current writers and producers and actually start working creating new shit unique to them.
