CHICAGO THE MUSICAL

April 26 - May 1, 2016

Recommended for Ages 13 and Up. (Children under 5 will not be admitted to the theatre. All patrons must have a ticket, regardless of age.)

GRAMMY Award-Winner Brandy Norwood stars as ?Roxie Hart?. Set amidst the razzle-dazzle decadence of the 1920s, CHICAGO is the story of Roxie Hart, a housewife and nightclub dancer who maliciously murders her on-the-side lover after he threatens to walk out on her. Desperate to avoid conviction, she dupes the public, the media and her rival cellmate, Velma Kelly, by hiring Chicago?s slickest criminal lawyer to transform her malicious crime into a barrage of sensational headlines, the likes of which might just as easily be ripped from today?s tabloids.

I'm so happy that she can still do Broadway on the side, since she loves it that much.
I might get to see her after all.
Must be a purple moon, feel like one of those nights...

I see this as a win win, nothing to be frustrated about as it pertains to her music. She gets to have her talent shine for a broad spectrum audience, her fans on the west coast get to see/meet her, it doesn't require the grueling time commitment of Broadway, and it keeps her performance skills at peak level. AND she gets paid to get all these perks.

Anybody on this board can attest to an artist?s problem isn?t that they suck, it?s the fact that not enough people knows how good they actually are! That's why sales are down for some of these incredible artists, they don't get exposure anymore. Brandy is working on this problem. Time and patience. It's gonna pay off. I believe that.
