No. They aren't   

Disney just had to let Sony reference the MCU in order to use Spider man but they won't be connected. It will be a one way relationship, where the MCU will not acknowledge Sony's Universe.

like .. Marvel NOR Sony is gonna miss out on coin by being foolish like Fox was. THAT'S why the initial rumors of Spiderman leaving MCU fell through

The fans do have more control now. They aren't just introducing Morbius the same year Blade was announced for no reason. Sony is making every power move with their set of characters to fall in line with Marvel
