The verses aren't bad. I think she sounds nice, and i love that she likes to do songs that have a message 

it's just not GREAT. Which has been the case for years now

Its def a Pop track. A song better suited for Imagine Dragons or Maroon 5. Its doing well on Pop radio last time I checked. So good for her, I guess.
