My final thought...
The album is just ok to me. I see that she tried to push a bit out of her comfort zone while still pleasing her fanbase. I give her props for that. This album was also a little less greasy than the others, which is different for her. Her vocals sound much cleaner this time around too.
The problem is I'm just not feeling most of the songs.
"Deep", "I Know", and "Alone in Your Heart" are my faves. "Call My Name" is growing on me too.
I'll definitely be purchasing those 4 songs. I want to do what I can to support, especially with how things are with R&B.
I can tell she really put some effort into this album and I hope it works out for her.
