You should care. It's about your  black community and it's wrong.

The BIG picture is that you fools want to blame the white media for every fucking thing but can't even fix the problems in your own community. It's the reason why 5 black people can't come together to start a business because WE DON'T STICK TOGETHER. What don't you get?

Eh...

I'm conflicted because I know some of them really did ignore them but also some of them were in a rush bc other outlets held them too long...  But my biggest problem is why are all of them on the end, how is the order decided?
Eh... 🤷🏾‍♂️

Fro, it didn't make sense for him to ignore Nas like that as he was literally yelling for others. He didn't even attempt or whisper for him to come over.
Our focus just seems to be different here.

I'm focused on the story of Black media being mistreated on the red carpet

And you're calling someone out for what it appears to be homophobia.

That's all. No one is "wrong" IMO

I just honestly don't care whether this man likes gays or not. It's not....a huge deal to me. This story is interesting to me, though.
It shouldn't matter whether he likes gays or not. His job was to interview people on that carpet. He was exclusive with the people he CHOSE to seek so how can he himself complain that people chose to walk by him? Does this make sense?
First off, he decides what his "job" entails, because he owns the company he represents on that carpet. So if he fails to d his "job" completely, that's a blow to his own company's bottom line - not Lil Nas X.

Does that make sense?
:ummwhat:

:omgwatshappening:
The kii is on him if he decided to pass up a tea with Lil Nas X to add to his own platform.

So I'm not....upset about that.

sdfsdffdsfds
Right, that's basically his loss. But don't come bitching that none of the black carpet-walkers stopped by when you didn't bother to reach out to them all.

And that's why I said it makes it even worse that he's the owner himself yet decided to include that clip of him being mute as Nas walked the carpet.

This thread's topic advertises a specific video.. a video that I'm not clapping for because it displays exclusion within itself. Now if we wanna talk about black media outlets being ignored in general and GODle making it a point to stop by, I think that deserves a different thread.

I feel bad for these Black media outlets. I wish there was a way they could get the word out to the artist in a major way because I doubt they are purposely not speaking to Black outlets. Money, exposure, fame etc really rule the industry so I'm sure the bigger companies like People magazine, E! News etc can pay to get exclusive access to the artist and it's probably hard to fight that for a small blog/media company that needs whatever interviews they can get

this dude really shot himself in the foot by including the footage of him ignoring Nas X
all he had to do is TRY, or if he didn't wanna try he should've edited that out. I get a hotep/against the gay agenda vibe

No breakfast for Fro. He's in time out to reflect about what the hell he said in here.
