So, I've decided to listen to Aaliyahs one in a million album for the 1st time. I only knew the singles from this album since I was more into Brandy and Monica. 1st let me say it's pretty damn refreshing listening to her voice again on songs I've never heard. This album is going awf in the right way for me. I don't know if it's because I'm a fan or because I haven't heard the album cuts but it's truly a good album. Her voice wasn't at its strongest I think she really progressed with the Aaliyah album and can only imagine where she would've have gone vocally. My favorite song songs are, "I gotcha back, heartbroken, and never givin up!

I'll listen to her 1st release later this week. But this is pretty dope to do.

Heartbroken is on repeat!

Her 1st album is my favorite. OIAM is great but it's just something about that first album.

It's a great album!

The non-Tim/Missy tracks would have made a solid mid-90's album.  I LOOOVE Never Givin Up, Never Comin Back, Choosey Lover, and A Girl Like You.  The latter always takes me back to the 1995/1996 era.  :stressed:

Of course, Tim and Missy took the other half of the album to an unknown stratosphere.   :thatssowendy:

Harlem
