it's not fair to judge her vocals  cuz she barely had the chance to perform

She had 3 full eras..

Pretty damn much, and not to compare, but her other counterparts came out the gate swinging when it came to their live singing. How much more time did she need? Her More Than A Woman live vocals weren't vocally sound either.

All that doesnt take away from the fact that she has a beautiful voice though - just not live. And a couple of clips here and there wont prove it. Generally speaking, she was rough.

Right. Not when the same folks be even saying Monica's voice and tone is preferred from her The Boy Is Mine and After The Storm era. Some artists vocally decline after subsequent albums.

No they served their purpose. Generally speaking, when someone uses words like "always" to describe something that doesn't actually always happen, all it really takes is one example to debunk said ignorance.

I think the dancing added a bit more rasp to her voice
