I mean
she needed more time

it's not fair to judge her vocals  cuz she barely had the chance to perform

She had the same amount of time as all the other girls
Right, these girls..

Wasn't she the first one of the 3 to drop a cd?  How would she not have enough time, she had a bunch of performance for the 2nd CD

There's someone your age with a Ph.D, do you need more time?
No I don't... If I was going for a PhD and didn't have one then maybe your comparison would've been better but since she actually was an artist and had just as many performances as her contemporaries him saying "she barely had the chance to perform" is not correct

Does everyone grow at the same rate yes or no

I would put Liyah before all the 90s girls but let's just be honest, she was horrible live. Never understood why some of you lie so much to protect people that know nothing about you. So strange.

CREAM.

And she didn't fully master singing and dancing @ the same time. I really think Aaliyah was a person that was really nervous on stage. She had to find her footing..her pocket. Then she's on. Her tone slayed and she snatched that control together.

CREAM.

This was cute.

I mean she has a number of performances of her sounding good. And some...off.

Why is she being picked apart?

Eh...

My dude... You reaching here and there when the only thing I did was agree with the person saying the guy that said she didn't have many chances to perform was wrong.
Eh... 🤷🏾‍♂️

Eh...

Where did I say that? I never even commented on her voice in here lol
Eh... 🤷🏾‍♂️

❄️☃️🌨 Shuji Feels Different 🌨☃️❄️

I loved a lot of her songs. She had a pretty average voice though. She made up for that with her performances/dancing.

She wasn't a horrible live singer despite this idiotic thread title

She had some shaky vocal performances and some good ones

I think her problem was simply nerves. Not that she just simply couldn't sing
yeah and the fact that she never used studio magic  :dead:

Her raw voice is on every record. If she couldn't sing, all you'd need is the studio clips Tbh
