Eeek.

I wonder what's in her contract that has them shook about renegotiating?

prolly something in that contract that doesn't benefit them in the long run either.

And with them on bad terms they know holding her up is their only trump card.

I'm pretty sure the renegotiating part that she glossed over is the main reason. They don't have nobody as big as her and she's clearly not interested in staying long term. It's really messed up

This industry is disgusting

Demonic, even
!!! I wonder if the issue has to do with the fact that they aren't making money off of everything she's currently doing.

I bet they didn't expect her to even get as popular as she is currently

with music contracts they can slip legal terms that a normal person wouldn't understand and at the time they probably couldn't afford a entertainment lawyer

Marilyn

The music industry seems like HELL  :plzstop: This shit been going on forever. From the Temptations in the 60s, to the Toni Braxton's in the 90s, to the 2020s. Jesus

TriBeCa

This happens time and time again. Small town "nobody" signs a management or record deal, basically signing over all rights. They invest and grind to make the artist famous and once the artist gets hot, they want out of their contract so they can sign with another company.
