Yeah symptoms are said to be mild for younger/healthier folks but it's still not something I'd like to try out for fun

I'm def not shivering somewhere in a corner about this either... still getting outside when I can and getting fresh air and ... living

But not throwing all caution to the wind. It's not just about me, but about my grandmother when I visit her. And the older people in my building whom I adore. One of them died last year and it broke my heart. She was the sweetest lil burrito
you shouldn't visit your grandma unless it's very necessary. Better to stay at a distance for now.
Must be a purple moon, feel like one of those nights...

There will be a massive spike in the summer, these current numbers are only alarming because of the rate of testing
The UK for example is testing more than most countries, thus the spike in cases everyday

I really just wanna do my part for those who are less fortunate and heavily impacted by all of these closures

Literally was brought to tears yesterday once they made it official that NYC schools would shut down. Cuz so many of those kids with empty fridges and pantries at home depend on the school lunches and breakfasts .

Rona went from being a full blown kii  to making me really sad in that instance. Gonna take some time tonight to research reputable organizations or individuals that are gathering donations.

I just can't sit and do absolutely nothing. Thankfully I never had to worry about meals as a child but coming from where I'm from I def encountered kids who did.
!!!!
It's the aftershock that will be the mess, this ain't the first or last virus to sweep

ch I'm carrying on as normal
I'm like I may have got the shit and I can pinpoint exactly when I may have been exposed and I'm fine  :plzstop:

Head was a little dizzy and breathing became restricted at a point but that's been about it.

QuoteOn Friday, the UK government's chief science adviser, Sir Patrick Vallance, said on BBC Radio 4 that one of "the key things we need to do" is to "build up some kind of herd immunity so more people are immune to this disease and we reduce the transmission."

But on Sunday, Matt Hancock, the UK secretary of state for health and social care, stressed that achieving herd immunity to Covid-19 is not a stated policy. Instead, he said that "in the coming weeks," people over the age of 70 will be told to self-isolate. This stands in contrast with World Health Organization guidelines, which recommend that everyone, regardless of age, practice social distancing.

"What we will do is listen to all the credible scientists and we will look at all the evidence," he said. "Herd immunity is not our goal or policy, it's a scientific concept."

Great plan

Gilgamesh.

Basically our PM is leaning towards the "herd immunity" concept but most people think it's terrible idea.

Honestly I think they're gonna lock down public transport in a week or so. My boss is already making provisions for us to all work from home.
