She was on an establish label putting out a mixtape. Boy bye. Most artist put out a mixtape because they can't promote it purpose as if it was a major project but she could. Her mess came out and every thought it was an album...but no street album, mixtape. Even after all her single, she giving out extended plays. This Ragley ass girl.

1501 is indie and who else they put out before her that's popping?

Most artist put out mixtapes to build a buzz prior to putting out a studio album. Even your fav put several mixtapes prior to putting out a studio album.

That's their business if they thought it was album she let it be known beforehand that it was mixtape/ep

300 was partnered with Warner Music Group. That's how she got her music on the radio before Fever. Cardi released her mixtapes thorough KSR, straight indie.

It's just like Monica starting MonDenise but still with RCA.

300 has distribution through WMG just like ever indie do to put music out

Monica is an established artist so wrong comparison.

I don't think you understand. Basically you can create your own label but the battery will be Warner Music Group while your label are the plugs.

Example, you just released your debut album under your own label "Wrong As Shit". Under Apple Music, it will say "©️2020 Wrong As Shit/Warner Music Group".

People do this so they can own there own mess like masters but the big label (WMG) just helps with promoting the record. She was better off making her own label instead of signing with 300. That's how she played herself.

I understand completely I don't think you understand. At the end of the day she's still indie like i said

Megan has done nothing no different than nicki and Card. They released mixtapes as well before their official debut album
