No shade to Jo b/c this was beautiful but it just goes to show how EFFORTLESS Ghan makes these songs sounds when you hear someone try to cover them. I always think of this as a chill ballad but baby Bran was really slaying with those vocals. JoJo took it back down an octave real quick lmao.

Yeah this was nice. But JoJo as of late just seems to be pushing her voice more than it needs to. This is a song that you kinda just sit with and let ur voice just caress the melody and the lyrics. Her mid belts are powerful and strong, but her top range is gonna be shot in a few yrs if she doesnt learn how to be more subdued and sing in her mix. She's alrdy losing her upper range.

Its kinda reminding me of Christina Aguilera and how her tone changed progressively to where she can barely hit a note above D5 now.

I don't know. I feel like it's more of a back and forth with JoJo. She's been sounding really good on her recent songs like Say So and Sabotage, even when singing those live. She does push too much though and her upper register seems a bit strained in recent weeks.
