I wouldn't say Bran is out of Mon's league vocally. Yes, Bran is the superior vocalist of the two but she's not out of her league and both duets proved that.

Tbh I thought Bran was going to wash Mon on IABTM but she stood her own

It depends on what you like. Either you like a voice that is smooth or church bound. They are both good at what they do and neither can give what each other give.

I guess. I think Monica has a more "traditional voice" that's easier for the average person. Her control is terrible though. The only reason people compare them is because of the Boy is Mine and at the time, they were a part of a very small class. But they just aren't in the same league...never have been.
