i don't think we've ever officially seen mel before

yea someone circulated a pic mess but that wasn't pulled from an actual account of his (social media, etc)
so that has to be regarded as a rumor.

maybe he is light skin with curly hair .

i can understand why people take issue with people claiming certain things because teas are definitely elevated within the black community
so if someone's claiming to be lighter skin, or have curly hair, or be of mixed heritage, or even share certain stories about their experience ....sometimes it can be a side eye moment

i get it.

but maybe his experience is what he's shared with us on here. we don't know that for sure.
i don't think it's a big deal.

he may stand out in a crowd as he's described, he may be a lil different than the norm in certain settings.
and maybe he's proud of how he looks. there's nothing wrong with that.

we have to stop associating someone being "different"  with someone being "better".
i honestly think that would alleviate a lot of the drama that comes with stuff like this.

not saying anyone on here is doing that but....i thought it was worth noting

I did post a picture of myself and that was during a bit of show n tell baby/kid pics
