I once had this nasal endoscopy to check my nasal/sinus passages and it's basically a tube with a camera. They tried to numb my nose first but I don't think it worked because I felt so much pain. The problem was not the tube in my nose, it was when they turned around the corner to check the sinus (cheek). If you breathe through the mouth and keep your nose open it should be fine, the q-tip ain't that big. So I don't think it can be that bad or else they would numb the nose first. But anyways it is just temporary and won't harm, people make it sound like it is like pulling a wisdom tooth.

It looks just like a nasal endoscopy mess to me except:

1) This one looks shorter so hey at least its not as bad

2) dddd seems like w/ this they don't use any form of numbing so eek but hey

For me, a nasal endoscopy wasn't TOO painful its just that feeling is something i'd rather NEVER have to experience if I don't have to. Its extremely uncomfortable and it feels wrong lol. Like i'm being probed by aliens but hey s/o to your local ENT

I had the endoscopy twice. First time there was a big polyp in my cheek blocking everything so it had to be removed.

Second time I really wanted to get it checked again but I don't think the doctor saw any reason to do the procedure. He was very excited to really go in there, to check every corner to tell me there was nothing to see. Made me wait for such a long time so numbing stuff didn't work anymore...and then he kept turning the damn camera in my sinus because he probably didn't want me back in his office for another checkup. He was such an asshole...maybe it was just the old wound/scar from the surgery that was sensitive.

I'd rather take ten Rona tests than another 360 camera party in my sinus. 😭

Yeah first time before he did the test he claimed there was nothing wrong in my nose. I said I think I might have a polyp, he said "I'm the doctor I will decide what is wrong with you." Intense dude. Made a huge deal about how I was there for no reason. Then the scan came back and my complete cheek was filled with a polyp so I got permission for the endoscopy.

I tried to relax in the chair but he immediately screamed "sit up straight! Why do you sit like that?" Like I was rude for trying to chill. I was too young and shy, I would never allow someone to talk to me like that again.
