But yea, Adele broke some more records recently. Highest selling album since "21" lol and already outsold Taylor

And some other records I can't remember right now

I agree wholeheartedly.

I hate that. It honestly becomes pointless to even buy an album when you've purchased 80% of it already.
!!!!

Even though I don't think Rih is putting any of that shit on ANTI

I have NEVER seen a year build up / pre-album hype nonevent ...

Rih is on some other shit.  :omgwatshappening:

Mel.

and gorl you love arguing with me. :uhh:
lets stay on topic

this isn't about Taylor.

I see what she's saying, but if I like the album then I will purchase.

This "6 month buildup".

It was a shot at Brandy, I heard.

ssss

You know what's crazy though. Brandy has never done a pushback on an album or had to go back and regroup. Once she gets the ball rolling there's no turning back.

I think she feels cause she can drop one single and the gorls go crazy
and run out to buy her mess

it gives her the right to undermine other artists
I agree with both these.

Three singles before the release of the album is enough. Really that's pushing it. Two is idle.

At the same time, of course Adele can say some shit like this. You can count one one hand the number of artists who can just release with little promo or one single and book.
Not every artist has that luxury. Sometimes it takes 5 or 6 tracks to have been released (not necessarily as singles, but put on iTunes like Chris did with a few tracks off Royalty) for the public to give a damn about your project.

Didn't read the full thing but I agree with the 7 single part. The 6 month thing depends on the artist..
well I don't think teasing fans for 6 months is CUTE. fave or not
Idk. It depends on the "tease"
