Even the jarred sauces have sugar unless u get the "no sugar added" variety
Sugar is a big component whheter u add more or leave the amount already in there
Same with ketchup its not naturally as sweet as it is so
If u only think of sugar as a desert then its hard to fathom
But if u oversalted a dish
U would add sugar when u cant add water
