It's the very last block/video of her latest Instagram live (you can watch it on her instagram page iamjojo from your phone). She planned on talking about the process of writing ,,man" with the girl she wrote it with, but because of technical difficulties she ended up just talking relationships etc with her mom. I feel like I learned more about her than from any other interview.
The most interesting things they discussed:
- Replying to a fan who asked her if she's gay, JoJo said she tried dating a woman (or women, not sure) in the past but that she doesn't think she could be considered bisexual. She has kissed women though and admires their beauty.
- her mom revealed that JoJo was in a physically abusive relationship and that she threatened JoJos man when she found out about it. JoJo didn't remember that until her mom brought it up, as she had surpressed that memory.
- The man she wrote ,,Andre" about turned out to be a jerk who cheated on her and now has 5 kids.
- She was abstinent for 9 months while making the new album, which helped her to feel more sensual and more like a woman.
- She's single for the first time since she was 14 years old (2 years so far).
- The way she described her album, it really sounds like its going to fucking good when it comes to the lyrical content and JoJo says it will be very R&B.
