Toni is way past her peak and doing this for fun. She also isn't concerned with the charts.

Brandy clearly believes in this single and wants to do it her way. No amount of whining and moping is going to make her release new music any sooner.

also Brandy has not released any albums since streaming became a thing ...this is new for her.

But isn't that what Maverick is for? The artist doesn't need to know everything. That's why they have management and a label behind them.

Not reading any of this mess because i understand everyone's frustration. Just know Brandy isn't intentionally trying to piss people off right now 

shes been a mess the last few years but she really has been on the right track as of late. A single with chance the rapper you don't just toss out when you had hundreds of thousands of dollars planned around it. I'm sure Kip can speak to what they had planned more than i can but it wasn't just the typical radio promo and guest spot on the real or something cheap 

at least give them a couple weeks to figure this out? We've never been through a fucking pandemic  how could they have been prepared for that?  It's not like everyone and their mama is dropping music right now anyway. It's actually very VERY quiet right now in comparison to what the music biz is normally like.

I wonder what kind of special promo they had lined up. I'm kind of excited, as they still might be able to pull that off once things are a bit better.

You can't mindlessly drop a single when there are DOLLARS attached. Radio, TV, etc. I know they're trying to market the single to Rhythmic AND Urban radio.
