First the $1200 stimulus

Then the additional $600 a week for people on unemployment under the CARE act

And now this?

:guys:

WAIT BITCH WHAT?

:usureuok: :usureuok: :usureuok:

Yh

Anybody that's getting unemployment benefits will also get an additional $600 a week that lasts til the end of July.

My little cousin is getting almost $900 a week off unemployment.

Still not understanding why they don't pause mortgages, rent, utilities, etc. for everyone :-/
the world is fucked :dead:

I feel like that would be more complicated because those things you listed also have to pay other people

MelMel

They should have done this first

But that's what I mean. Have payments paused for major things at all levels.

But that's what I'm saying. If mortgages and major expenses of individuals and companies were paused, there wouldn't be a need to demand money from tenants. For example, it a landlord had their mortgage paused, there wouldn't be a need to collect rent for a month or two. If big companies didn't have such high overhead, they could simply stop paying employees for a month or two without firing and these employees wouldn't be affected much because they wouldn't have major expenses either.

GMF

Where are they getting this money from? :everythingok:

Not them pulling a Zimbabwe mess and just printing money

A loaf of bread is going to cost more than some of y'alls rent soon

Yeah it seems simple when u lay it out like that ...and there's sense to it... but its def more complex imo
Instead of printing all of this fake Monopoly money that doesn't mean a thing, we should be focusing on how to stop increased debt on an individual level and work our way up. Yes it's complex but we're not doing shit anyway.
