Same. Bran been through some SHIT but "tragic life story" is not how i want her to be remembered 

Can't wait til she does that one in-depth interview addresses the mess (label drama, missed shows, Monica, clapbakc era etc) and we're done with it.

Failure after failure after failure. It almost felt like she was speaking it into existence by saying it over and over again. Honestly I don't think Brandy has ever been not successful. Success looks different for everyone and as long as she is able to make a living from music and affect peoples lives, she is a successful artist! Now maybe the last few albums were a failure for her personally, because she expected something different in terms of reception, but I hope from now on she can focus on the good things!

I made this thread because i pray she avoids this narrative from now on. I don't wanna hear her talk about suicide or how she didn't think she'd make it and all that. Time to reshape all of that, but mostly for herself.

Tmy mom got me into brandy when I was a kid and she always talks about how Sonja and Willie raised brandy right ! She was like you never saw bran be a slut fr media acting like Lindsay or Britney etc on drugs and shit,  There are many child stars who kinda did go crazy and turn to drugs. Brandy was one of the few who didnt Because transitioning from child actor to adult isn't easy

yeah and this isn't to paint brandy as some sort of Cinderella cuz we know she isn't and most of the industry ain't that sddd but i still root for her

I still think her spirit is dope and she's insanely gifted.

She has been through so much but she is definitely an angel and has such a pure spirit . Thank God for her daughter and close family surrounding her . I know this album will be huge for her and I'm so happy that she is getting the love she deserves!

yeep!! she def wasnt perfect!! i remembr when she got pregnant or whatever and ppl freaked out!!! like she was 21 22 who wasnt getting DICKED DOWN at that age???  like ppl cared too much.

but anyway this era i feel like is gonna be one of her best eras yet.. i cant bvelieve we are less than a month away from a new era
