Also Jacksonville and Tampa are two of maybe three cities that are allowing this. Since their case count is some of the lowest.

South Florida has the most cases and the beaches down here are still closed. At least where I live they are.

You think ppl in south Florida won't venture out n spread the mess? Lolz

Nobody is driving up to Jacksonville or Tampa to walk on a beach. It's not that deep.

And people can venture out ANYWHERE. I have a friend that just flew from NYC to Miami few days ago. 🤷🏾‍♂️

Like I've said before, will never have full control.

BigDawg

It will take time to get ahead of it but I don't think it's wise to open things so soon

Because your government is a joke.

None of the other countries are taking any mess when it comes to following the rules.

They are opening select beaches for access. The rule is supposed to be that you can't stand still. Meaning you can run on the beach, walk in the beach or whatever but can't necessarily lay out or sun bathe.

What does this suppose to do?

:udontlookok:

Give ppl a little more of their freedom back considering many people live here for, IDK, the beaches.

What's the diff between walking on a sidewalk and walking on a beach? Real talk though.
I think what confuses me is the fact that the government legit said this week that just passed and the upcoming week would be the peak of the disease

Why the heck would a beach be open in florida?
The place with almost perfect weather (without hurricanes) and tons of folks whose itching to make up for spring break?

This is deadly

GLOCK

And weren't they the last big state to get closed down?

Bxbxjxjx

did it even last a month?
that place is doomed

To me ... this is the perfect opportunity for the government to prove its worth and govern the states for everyone's best interests
!
We got the largest amount of reported deaths

This is very premature and such a bad look

Especially considering how easy it is to reach florida by car from all the southern states

What's to stop folks from driving up from Miami and spreading the mess...
BINGO

The issue that I take with it, is that these people on the beach can get infected with the virus and be a-symptomatic, then go to an essential location like a grocery store and infect someone who would die from Corona. Now is not a time to letup off of the lockdown just so someone can take a stroll down the beach.
