I just still don't understand why there's no backup mess on planes

so if I'm going down, there's not backdoor I can sneak out of with a parachute ... I mean ... I gotta sit there and wait

You can't open a plane door at that high of an altitude. The cabin is pressurized.  So even if you tried you can't open and let's say you were to get it open everyone would pass out from the lack of oxygen and be sucked out

i just cant begin to imagine how HOT that mess was for them to just decide to jump to concrete .

i think the jump was the easier way out....to just stand there as ur skin burned inch by inch....smoke filled up ur lungs
it's basically slow and cruel torture

oh yeah they did say airplane fuel burns very high

you say it like the other planes just said "Hey girls take us into the buildings!"

this is the only flight that actually had passengers who were willing to fight

but i think it could have had a lot to do with the fact that a few of them had gotten word of the other planes crashing into the towers already....

so they knew what was about to happen to them. i could imagine on those those first two flights there may have been a sense of hope....like ok we're hijacked but stay calm and maybe we'll make it out of this alive

they were like shit if im about to die i aint bout to just sit down and relax as this mess flies into the white house

The 9-1-1 calls were so chilling.  I can't believe we're approaching 20 years

What always disturbs me more than anything is when i think about the people that were in those buildings and had to decide whether or not they'd rather burn to death or jump to their death

im kinda glad i wasn't really old enough to grasp exactly what was going on and why

i couldn't imagine being a working adult at that time, especially having to travel in and out of manhattan on a daily basis

!!!!!! If that mess was burning through and melting STEEL (somehow 🤨) enough to the point of taking the buildings down, then i can only fucking imagine.
