I am just so proud of this woman. Her resiliency is so inspiring -- to come back with this laser focus and strong sense of self with a dose of humility. I am blown away - just wow - it's an honour to see her comfortably walk in her legacy; she  ain't got shit to prove to anyone. I am confident the success and accolades will come because she's connecting with her purpose and her fans.

we're only one week in and this is already my favourite era since 2000s.

It just dawned on me that Brandy really wanted to make sure she kept this album process tight knit towards the end because she not only wants it to be unlike anything she/lashawn or camper have ever done, but i think she obviously doesn't want it to sound remotely close to anyone else's project either 

think about the last album and how many Rico love songs sounded similar on Usher and Monica's album. I'm sure Brandy said no fucking ma'am and never again. It's just not CUTE and they're all above that, actually. Usher and Mons too.
