yeah I wanted her to dig in a little more.
I don't know if she's purposely being vague or if she doesn't know what to say about the work.
:dead:

I hope it's the former.

She's been media trained to death. That's a hard habit to break.

Quote"YouKnowIGotSoul: Camper told us you are doing like 16 part harmonies. What's the key to not getting lost in the runs and harmonies to make sure that the song is still cohesive?

Brandy: That can be tough because when you're trying to do all the stacks and put all the harmonies, you want to still give the music room to breathe. It's not so much 16 anymore. I have a new formula that I've been working with to make things more simple, but still not shying away from what I'm known for."

To be a fly on the fucking wall when she is doing this...Jesus Christ   :shook:

You really made her realize that she hadn't embraced her past until recently and the reasons WHY. That is so interesting to me and i get it

Celebrating and constantly revisiting the past felt like it would make her a relic, or keep her stuck there in that time period, not feeling free to explore and discover something new. I really get it.

I'm glad now she knows she can walk and chew gum at the same time. You're Brandy.

Fantastic interview, Buddha. As ALWAYS

She's not doing much stacking with her vocals this time and found a new forma to keep it more simple. This is so great.

Didn't DJ Camper day the other day that they've been doing like 16 stacks? I remember him saying that the sessions for this album were "stacking, stacking, stacking".

:dead: at Camper thinking he had Bran going BEYOND and her giving a "I do this for my demos"  :shannonsmissing:
:kii:
HE wasn't use to it. She been doin it

She and Lashawn were probably in there coming up with the wildest shit

He did but he isn't really a vocal guy. He don't know what he is talking about.
yes he is  :dead:

And grew up in church. He's a whole singer as well. Brandy probably just meant she isn't overdoing it in every track

There are videos of her stacking like crazy ssddd

in another interview she said it will speak for itself

Often times when you describe something (especially her) fans cling to that and either have too high of an expectation or completely disregard and throw the album away before giving it a chance.

The mystery falls right in line with her album cover for me. She's attaining just a smidgen of the mystique i remember her once having and I'm intrigued. I truly have no idea what we're about to hear
:plzstop:

NONE of those snippets we heard are indicative of anything. She always shares bare bone snippets of a simple harmony or line of a song with everything else muted dnnfn
