The fight scenes are better in DD but Jessica was a much better watch for me.  The main villain had an awesome power and it was interesting to watch their dynamic.

I have a feeling Jessica Jones will get a bigger budget next year and season 2 might actually be worth watching. Season 1 was a bore.

Jessica slayed me.  The writing was great.  She had a power struggle with a rapist, mind-controlling villain who wanted nothing more than to possess her.  It's not an alien invasion, but a very personal and intimate battle.  I was here for it.  I just think it dragged in the middle a bit.


DD, I didn't care about the characters at all.

I like the more subdued superheroes though.  I'm getting sick of the formulaic summer blockbuster Marvel and DC movies.  It's time to start digging for unique characters.
