btw, that "stomp up in my heels"  line was originally subdued and super chill on the other version of Baby Mama just like she sang it here. I never heard it but i know someone that has. Hopefully we can hear a live version of this soon

I actually love the subdued stomp in my heels here! I think it will get better and better she usually tweaks it and keeps recording new live versions which I love. I don't care if she lips but I've never seen her lip to the Actual studio track .. she's usually more innovative with it .

I didn't mind the note alterations at all, loved them actually. Just do em live. Brandy isn't really a trained to go type of singer tho, and these are just other expectations I need to adjust

Came across this thread about the performance on Twitter just now. These are the people that need to be won over, which it seems like is happening. Most of us on here are gonna nitpick and have diff standards, but most of us are gonna support anyway. She needs them.

IDK if it's because she's been gone for so long but this song has stayed in my head since it came out.  It has a great melody and is very, very catchy. I think the chorus is the weakest part of the song though; it's the adlibs and the pre-chorus that are the most memorable.

I think if people let go of their feelings over the song title they will be able to appreciate the song for what it is: which is a very well produced song with great vocals.
