Only Brandy die hard fans see Monica saying "the only Grammy we won is together" as something shady... Even when one of them win another be it her or Brandy I'm sure Monica will still say it was the first Grammy we won and it was together. 🤦🏾‍♂️

thats a weird question. And Brandy literally posted Monica's first single on her instagram page in 2015  she posted 'Just right for me" JUST before Code red came out and wrote the longest caption, reminiscing about the good times they shared WITH "just right for me" playing in the video. 

THEN Monica started posting Brandy on her page by posting her spread in uptown magazine and showed love to beggin n pleadin a year later. Clearly something happened after that and its when Brandy recorded new vocals for "The girl is mine" per wishes of Atlantic records, because they owned the rights to everything at the time. The UK artists really wanted the sample cleared at the time and so she did it.

By the way, Brandy now does indeed OWN the rights to every single sliver of her own music, not Atlantic. Hence why everything merged with her youtube channel now. 

OH, and Brandy posted Monica on her page just a few months ago but again, she doesn't owe anyone anything. None of us know WHAT happened but 2012 wasn't the cut off point. it was 2015/16
