I definitely think she knows her audience, which has honestly worked in her favor. She has not taken as many deviations from what people love her for as Brandy has. Brandy has definitely been more risky as an artist. Monica never strayed too far away. People kinda know what they're getting. She's also had big platforms that have portrayed her in a positive, relatable light which is something Brandy definitely needs to do.

Especially knowing Queen was fully driving the mess and also to see the genuine love that every has for her.. I'm glad she knows how much she is needed. Music just hasn't been the same since she's been gone.. and that has killed me. So I've leaned on her older music to help me through.. still no one gets me more excited than Brandy.

I don't think this is true at all. To me, it's the other way. Monica is just as successful but when Brandy is mentioned with her, people just discredit Monica's success as an artist when they don't have to. One had more success, true.
