You're already lying.  Kandi and her voice were VERY prominent in Xscape 

And everyone knew Kandi wrote all those songs in the early 2000s.

Lisa Raye has a pretty good resume
enough to where ppl would side-eye her coming onto a show like this. She can still get roles I believe. She's still actively in her career

Kandi wasn't making waves in music or acting when Andy called so it all makes sense.

It's the difference of Toni being on Braxton Values, and Tamar being on Braxton Values.

Toni made the show, and could've easily turned it down.
