If you need too just get a deuce deuce to start off. Don't know your experience with handguns nor body build etc... but if you want o arm yourself now. That would work

I was trying soo damn hard not to go buy a gun too have it in my house. Didn't want to have to touch one after leaving the service, but fuck that.

When I see someone walk around with a gun - which I never do- and it is not a cop I know that is a sign to run. I can't believe the USA is so casual. Ok there are people who have guns (but it is illegal, they are most likely criminals) and there are people who carry a knife (I heard it is a trend especially among teens) but there has never been a moment in my life where I saw someone threaten another person with a gun.

If there is a fight things won't escalate that quickly. I truly believe this makes cops and citizens less paranoid and anxious. These cops are just gun crazy like they are in call of duty, they have way too much power. I know where I live they have also used excessive force at times (knee on a neck) but if a cop shoots someone there will be an investigation to check if that amount of violence was necessary.
