Two nights ago, I was on the phone with my mother as she discussed everything that was going on(she's in Chicago) and going to be an evangelist who knows I'm gay.

For the 1st time I finally said it with my entire chest that I don't believe in the god yall worship, she was pushing scripture for what's going on.

And I love that she isn't pushy with me, she asked what I believe and said I have the right to believe that. Etc.

I just felt the things she was saying was making her and them sound docile and complacent. And it's so fucking frustrating how they whip that shit out and this keeps happening over and over and over again. I'm just...
