It's not just about your brother, jackass. There's a whole system that needs to be dismantled.

Psalms 123!

boy hush!
that bible ain't gone make the change we need silly.

save it. We're off that

That bible was used during slavery to stop people from suicide (escaping) and to somehow make them believe it was their fault they were the slaves (some weird plan God created, destiny). It also taught the black community to forgive enemies and to not hold them accountable. 'Forgiveness' or being the bigger person seems to be heroic nowadays, but in reality the person who was the problem in the first place gets away with murder. So "you can't be angry, you can't blame others, you are responsible yourself"..these narratives are not creating change. It makes people bottle up their emotions and racism/hate/oppression will happen time and time again.

Peaceful protest is beautiful but this monster is really ugly, so there needs to be chaos to be heard. I saw a video of a reverend who nearly cursed because Trump turned the church into a battleground. I love how she keeps rolling her eyes everytime she mentions that idiot. He is a terrible person.https://youtu.be/z6oHx7gwnpc

Faith and being spiritual can bring someone a lot of wisdom, healing and love

but religion can take away power, take away common sense and it can really hurt people

yea

sometimes that being the bigger person mess is for the birds

slice n fucking dice first, ask questions later.

AGGRESSION is the only thing some people can understand.

Speak their language if you want your message to seep into their skull.

Now is the time to speak up and show some power!
I know I can't even understand how deep this pain is and to live under these circumstances..so much fear and police brutality. Damn

Sor but jus from my own personal experience witnessing my moms side of the family

Brothers and sisters don't always have the best intentions for each other

Wouldn't be surprised if this nigga was getting paid to say this

He should be fucking angry

Annie

They're probably just scared that everyone, or the government/people with power, will think their fam has caused this Armageddon.

I had some white bitch decide to comment on a post where I was trying to educate her friend telling blacks how they should protest

"so the man that opened up his business with his life savings shouldn't care that his business was destroyed."

I didn't even respond at this point  because it's a waste of time. these are the ones prioritizing the wrong part of all of this. I seen white ppl quoting MLK and saying he wouldn't want this meanwhile y'all the same ppl that killed him for being peaceful. They love peaceful protests cuz it's easier to ignore   :uhh:

Annie

You can't tell people how to protest

of course a person like senator Corey Booker will have to be peaceful to get things done... a pastor will probably also not advice people to use violence or to destroy things. Everyone is different...and apparently peaceful and polite protesting did not work. Innocent people have died..so anger is only normal imo

Because of all the chaos people start to pay attention all over the world

my country has been in corona lockdown for months, our capital has been empty for months ..no tourists, no people just tumbleweed. Then suddenly there were 5000 people (government was freaking out because of social distancing). People decided it was more important to protest than to get corona. And  the mayor made the decision to let it happen because she knew these people were there for a reason. She said it is important for people to have the freedom to protest especially during these times of corona, the government has already been telling us how to live life..she said it is important to also be critical and speak up.
